August 30th: Engine #9 Show: Tasty World: Athens, GA:

Last night my boyfriend, Dustin, played with his friend Burch's band "Engine # 9". It was a blast. It has been so long since I've seen Dustin on stage and it was so hot! tee hee
We drank a little too much and everyone had a blast!
The bands that followed were a little heavy for
my taste but Engine # 9 was great! The crowd was really into it which made it that much more exciting.
Burch is a wonderful song writer though he had a little
too much to drink before the show and got a little nervous. He still managed to be a very entergetic and entertaining frontman!
Never a dull or disappointing moment when these boys are on stage!
Band Members:
Burch (Vocals), Dusty (Bass), Josh (Guitar), Ryan (drums).
Keep an eye open for their up coming show and of course get ready to see WeiserMe again soon and get ready for their new CD! Yay! Back Stage Hottie pictures!

We got two kegs (though only one was drank!) and got in the hottub had a little too mch to drink! LOL

California Dreamin': Sept. 8, 2006

We are finally at our hotel in San Ramos (about 30
min. outside of San Fran.). It's pretty cool here! Dusty absolutely loves it! Our flight landed around 6:00pm and we went to Fisherman's Warf to eat dinner (We were all Starving!) we ate at Chic's Seafood and it proved to have wonderful food (You should go there!) After that we were pretty tuckered out (Dusty and I had to drive to L.A. in the morning for my shoot) so we headed to the hotel.

The next morning we got up and ate breakfast my mom had to go to her meeting so we saw her off and got ready to drive for the next 7hours into LA. The ride was amazing. We took Hwy. 101 instead of Hwy. 1 in order to save time. The hills & Vinyards were so beautiful and it was sunny the whole way.

We finally got to LA at 4:00pm my shoot was in 30min! I called Jay to let him know I was running late and schedule to meet a 5:30 instead. From then on everything turned into a big disaster! We had to get gas before I went to the shoot (we were about to run out in the middle of downtown LA) We rode around and ended up in the ghetto until finally we came to one, by that time it was almost 6pm and I went to call Jay, but my cell was gone! we rode around looking for the location but without the phone I could call him and I didn't have his # anymore. It was terrible. An hour later Dusty and I headed back to the hotel. I was totally bummed. In a sweet attempt to cheer me up Dusty decided to take me out to dinner. We were soo sick of being in the car that we decided to walk..eh..yeah, we walked around the block a few times realizing that the best place we saw to eat was at our hotel (The Biltmore: Malinium). It turned into a wonderful evening. We ate then we watched a jazz band play in the bar.

The next morning we had to drive back to San Fran to meet my mom.
We went to Vince Beach first though! I wish we could've stayed longer but we only got to stay about 2 hours. On the way back my mom suggested that we take Hwy 1. We took Hwy. 101 until we got to San Louis Bispo and stopped at Shell Beach which was right off the Highway and the most beautiful place I'd ever been (though it smelled REALLY bad!
Once we were
on Hwy. 1 we realized we should've gone a different route. It was almost dusk and the roads were not only curvey but most parts were under construction as well. It got dark pretty qickly and it was really hard to see the road (but b/c we were in the "National Forrest" and Big Sur there wasn't any road we could turn off onto). Taking this route added close to 5 extra hours on our trip! We didn't even get back until 1am (my mom was "put out" to say the least!).

Monday we stayed in San Fran.We went back to Fisherman's Warf and to Pier 39. We ate Clam Chouder and watch the Sea Lions on the pier. At 3PM dustin and took the boat to Alcatraz. That was really cool! We spent the day there then head back to the hotel to meet our friend, Kemp (who moved to Cali. about 2-3 yrs. ago).
We headed to Kemp's house around 10pm. It was good to see him! And his friend, Steven (a fellow Athens goer) was in town too. It was oddly just like hanging with Kemp back on Ruth St. all over again Steven was there and all! We walked down to his studio (he's a Graphic Designer for video games and such). He is soo talented. It was a lot of fun.

Tuesday morning we headed to the airport and arrived back in Athens about midnight. I had a really good trip even with all the mishaps in LA. Now it's time to start getting ready for NYC in 4 days!

Attention:

Some of the dates the blogs are posted are not corespondent with the actual date of the event! It'll all be caught up soon enough! But until then bare with me!

Agust 11th: Two shoots

Today was an extremely packed day! I had two shoots one with Kieth from Seraphim Studies and the other with Steve Thorton (www.stevethorton.com).

The first shoot was at 8:00am in Seraphim Studios.
When I got there the only person who was there Linda, my MUA.
Kieth took the best pictutures of me ever & I had a great time working with them both.Linda was amazing!

I had a TUN of make up on when I left the shoot with Keith
and I was required to have bare make up and curly hair for my next shoot with Steve Thorton and it was in 3hours! since I live about an hour away from Atlanta there was no way I could go home first. So, I rushed to the nearest target and bought a bunch of
make up remover and cotton swabs; I ended up sitting in the Boarders parking lot for the next 45min. removing all the junk off of my face. Ugh. Then there was the hair issue! I started heading towards Marrieta (where my next shoot was) and road around until I saw the nearest hair studio. I jumped outta my car and ran inside they sat me down in the first chair I came to. As I was sitting I realized that the girl about to do my hair and another stylist were wispering about what to use to curl my hair and what they couldn't use then it hit me I was the only white girl in there! LOL My Stylist said "Girl, I've never done a white girls hair before so you let me know if it starts to burn.." humm...not a good sign! After serveral of the girls in the store came up to touch my hair and about 20mins of laughing my hair looked great! I was ready to go!

I met Steve at a coffee house and followed him to where we were shooting. He pulls off the side of the road and starts driving up this huge imbankment, my little Altima was not going up there! I get in the car with Steve and ride the rest o
f the way to the top where I get out, Strip down to my lace black boyshorts throw on a black tank and start following Steve down into a very small clearing (obviously an old grown over drainage pool). The sun was just starting to set so we didn't have much time. The actual shoot was total hell (But, I didn't complain I'm not a fucking Diva or anthing...okay, well I didn't complain to HIM! LOL). It was hot and it looked like rain (and everyone in GA what that means in the south! HUMID!) , I was exhausted from the other shoot, the grass we were in came up to my shoulders and there were ungodly amounts of insects all over the place. At one point I swore I was sweating Gnats! Steve was great though and I knew his amazing work well (go check it out: www.stevethorton.com) so it was all well worth it! I LOVE my pictures from him as well! He had a totally different style than Keith which was awsome to go from on extreme to the other.
Obviously both my shoots went amazingly well and now I'm heading back to Athens to meet Dusty at the GA Theater to see ZOSO.
Bye for now!
